Another crazy dump of snow….which means that the shovel is in constant use. Deck, stairs, and sidewalk. Deck, stairs, and sidewalk. Again and again. It seems that once I’ve finished shovelling all three, I have to start all over. The wind whips through the common area and over the buildings, sweeping all of the fresh fallen snow right back over my nicely shovelled spots. But, it’s a lot easier to shovel if there’s an inch of snow, as opposed to a foot of that fluffy stuff. Farrah seems to find it quite amusing. She loves to stand at the window watching Daddy shovel and it makes me laugh when she uses the window to make funny faces at me. What a comedian she is.

The Christmas Spirit
Well, it’s officially winter. I was really hoping that we weren’t going to get any snow until Christmas Eve, but I guess that was just wishful thinking. Not only did we get snow…we got a huge dump of snow. The streets were horrible, which made driving extremely slow and difficult with my Aveo. That poor car has pizza cutters for tires and is so light I could probably just lift it out if I got stuck. lol But…we made it through last winter with it, so I’m sure if I take it easy, it’ll make it through this winter season too.

Patiently Waiting...
I'm patiently waiting for the next trade offers to come in. I've been re-posting the ads on Kijiji, but they have recently been deleting my ads due to me slipping my web address into the posts. lol So, fewer people will know how to get here, but for the ones that have actually used the power of Google and completed a search to get here...WELCOME!!! This is Pennies To A Dream. The Penny "trade-up" Race is a race that I started in September 2010 with 3 individual pennies. Each penny was

It must be over?!?!
On Oct.30/10, I noticed that Kyle MacDonald had posted 3 signed copies of his book to trade. My excitement took hold and I offered him something amazing. Things were going great with arranging a trade, but recently, I noticed that he removed his posting regarding the new trade adventure that he was starting. Darn!!! I guess it must be over?!?! If it is, I might just have to post the Nickelback Hesher cd online and see what I could get for it. I've read that Chad K wants to bury that album. lol Come and get it Chad!!!

Friday Night Newbie
Another Friday night and another new item. The 1982 Penny just shot up in the race with the Chronicles of Narnia DVD's trading up. This trade was arranged earlier this week, but with conflicting schedules and busy days, it had to wait until today. Check out the At Home Photo Lab to see what the new item is all about and to see how The 1982 Penny made it to this stage in the race.

Guestbook
Unfortunately, I was unaware that you can't make comments while in other pages on this blog. I've searched for a solution, but came to find that you can only leave comments on the Home page. Too bad. Maybe, some day, I'll look into it a bit further, but for now, comments can still be left on any of the posts on the Home page. I'm not a pro-blogger in any sense of the word, so a lot of this is trial and error. I'd still love to hear your comments on PTAD and look forward to new trades in the future. In fact, there is a new trade taking place later this week, so don't forget to stop by and see which item gets traded and what it's traded for.
