One Red Paperclip

Kyle MacDonald, the guy that took a single red paperclip and turned it into a house in 14 trades and in only 1 year.  That's a huge accomplishment.  He made headlines around the world and became what some people, including myself, might call an inspiration.  To take on something so simple and to have met so many people along his journey...awesome.  I loved this idea when I first heard it.  It's been done, that's a fact.  But can it be done again?
I just finished Kyle's book that he wrote about his trading journey and wasn't in the least disappointed.  I'm not much of a reader and could probably count the number of books I've read (start to finish) on 2 hands.  Sad, but true.  This book just kept me going and I couldn't wait to read the offers for each object and how he went about his trades and overnight stardom.  It's a great book, especially if you are a believer in the power of people like I am.  He's definitely captured the main reason for doing this and that is to meet new people that you wouldn't have met if you were just going about your normal routine.  My journey, along with his, isn't all about the money.  Money doesn't hurt, but it's to add some excitement and entertainment to our lives and to meet new people, and probably visit new places, along the way.
Go and check out Kyle's site, oneredpaperclip.com.  See how he started and each trade that he made to become the first and only person to have ever successfully traded his way up to a house.  When you're done there, come back to PTAD and make an offer for one of the items that are currently up for trade.  Get yourself into the ITT.  Become a trader!  Let's Trade, Winnnipeg!  Let's Trade!
