Back on Track
The premiere of the new TV show called Barter Kings was last month and it has made for a significant increase in Winnipeggers posting on the Swap/Trade section of Kijiji, not to mention a few others that have started their own "Trade-up" journey to something Bigger & Better. I'm not sure if this will help or hinder The Penny "Trade-Up" Race, but what I do know is....we made another trade this past weekend! Not only did we make a trade, but after less than a week being posted on Kijiji, the response has been very positive and I've received numerous replies for another trade to something Bigger & Better, one of which I've accepted and

Tips For Offers.
I'm still trying to arrange the trade for the Old Hockey Cards, which I'm still hopeful that it will happen this weekend, but they haven't been traded yet, so offers can still come in for them, but I can't accept any until I know for sure if the Old Hockey Cards are going to be traded or not. But, like I said, offers can still be made and I'll let you know more when I know more.
The printer and the camcorder are still up for trade, though, and I would love to be able to trade them soon. So, keep the offers coming in. Try to remember that the type of offers that I'm looking for are something that I would be crazy to pass on. An offer I can't refuse. A few tips that I would suggest to those making the offers:
1. Pictures speak a thousand words. By this, I mean that if you send a photo of the offer, it gives me a better idea of the condition/model/size/etc. of the item that you're offering.
2. Link it. If you don't have time to take and upload a photo of the offer, a link to a URL that shows the same item is great too. Plus, with a link, I'm able to get a better understanding of the price and details of it.
3. Explain it. If a link or photo aren't able to be found or sent, please explain in the best detail that you can. If it's an offer that I feel that I can't refuse, I would love to come and check it out.
4. Have fun with it! This is a social experiment. It's meant to be fun and a little bit competitive at the same time. Because it's supposed to be fun, I hate declining offers, but it happens, so if your offer is declined, please don't be offended by it. There is no right or wrong, it really boils down to if I feel it's something that I can't refuse.
Hopefully, this added guide will help you out on your decision on what to offer. Also, please check out The Rules to help you out even more with your offer. The Incentives To Trade are available too, so check them out to see how you can earn some money when you become a trader in the race.
