     The premiere of the new TV show called Barter Kings was last month and it has made for a significant increase in Winnipeggers posting on the Swap/Trade section of Kijiji, not to mention a few others that have started their own "Trade-up" journey to something Bigger & Better.  I'm not sure if this will help or hinder The Penny "Trade-Up" Race, but what I do know is....we made another trade this past weekend!  Not only did we make a trade, but after less than a week being posted on Kijiji, the response has been very positive and I've received numerous replies for another trade to something Bigger & Better, one of which I've accepted and

New Trade in Penny #1's Path

     It took quite a while, but the Car Stereo Package was finally traded up.  Thank you so much, Fat Phil, for making the offer you did and for making the trade today.  It was great meeting you and everyone down at Rogue Tattoo and Piercing.  You guys have a great looking shop and with your experience and location, I can only imagine how busy things can be there.  
     For making this trade, Fat Phil will be receiving 2% of the profits for Penny #1 when we reach the end of the race.  It appears that Penny #1 is holding strong in the lead, but who knows what could happen, especially with new changes coming soon to the InCENTives to Trade.   But for now....check out the new item in The Penny "Trade-up" Race...........

Finally Traded The Printer

     Can you believe it?!?!  I have to admit, I was beginning to think that the Brand New Printer would never be traded.  Not only has it been an extremely long time since I had traded the Chronicles of Narnia Collector's DVD for the printer, but the last trade offer that had been arranged for the printer had a no-show at trade time.  I was starting to doubt

Ukrainian Christmas Day Trade

     With the Christmas bonus over, and the Incentives To Trade back to normal, I'm very happy that 2 out of the 3 available bonuses had been taken.  Chad traded the Old Hockey Cards in The 1978 Penny's path (my penny) and there is a trade that was accepted on the last day of the bonus, with a trade lined up for Friday evening (Ukrainian Christmas).  This new item will be traded for Farrah Faucet in The 2010 Penny's path (Farrah's penny).  I am looking forward to this next trade, as it's been about 2 and a half months since the bathroom taps were traded to me for the poker table.  It's been about 2 months since I traded the Chronicles of Narnia DVD's for the At Home Photo Lab, too.  With a couple months without any trades, I can't help but wonder if it was because of the holidays approaching that stopped the trading.  I guess I'll never really know, but it sure left me with a lot of time to get the site the way I want it and spend a lot of quality time with the wife and daughter.  

     Be sure to come back this Friday evening (late evening) to see the new item that Farrah Faucet is trading up for.  Also, keep your eyes open for other bonuses that might pop up in the future.  2011 is already looking like a great year, so, Let's Trade, Winnipeg!  Let's Trade!

Just made it...

     As midnight quickly approaches on this Jan.3/2011, the Christmas Present Percentage bonus comes to an end.  One bonus was taken by Chad when he traded the Old Hockey Cards for the docking station/backrest package.  That was the last trade in 2010, as it was made an official trade on Dec.31/2010 at around 2pm.  That left 2 bonuses up for grabs.  One to the next trader of the At Home Photo Lab and one to the next trader of Farrah Faucet.  I'm pleased to announce that as of this afternoon another offer has been accepted and will be traded this coming Friday.  Because the offer was made and accepted before the end of today (Jan. 3/2011), this next trader will be getting the bonus as well.  I will be checking my email right up until midnight to give everyone a fair chance to trade for the At Home Photo Lab, which is the only item left with a bonus.  After midnight, all percentages earned for becoming a trader in The Penny Race will be back to normal.      I had a great holiday season and this new trade is the perfect end to it, and an even better start to the new year.

     Just to let you all know, there is a trade lined up for Friday afternoon.  With it being New Year's Eve day, I'll be fairly busy and may not be able to post the new item until some time on Saturday, but as soon as I get the chance, the new item will be up for trade.  The title is a little hint as to what the next item will be about.  Yep, hockey.  Something to do with

A Change Will Do You Good.

The new item's header has been changed thanks to a suggestion by Ron, the trader.  I should have thought of it first, but completely missed the most obvious pun.  lol  And, the photos taken of the item will also be changed later today.  The lighting in the current photos doesn't show the real beauty of the chrome finish.  Thanks, Ron for these suggestions and keep watching PTAD as new offers should roll in soon.

New Trade Item Coming Friday!

I am very happy to announce that there will be a new item posted this Friday evening.  The "Go All In!!!" package will be traded tomorrow afternoon/evening, meaning that the poker table is no longer up for trade.  I will be uploading photos of the trade and item as soon as I can when I get home from making the swap and from there, will be posting the new item on Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace.

     I just thought that I would let everyone know that a trade for the 2 Vinyl Records will be taking place on Saturday afternoon.  That means, the 2 Vinyl Records are no longer up for trade.  Come back Saturday evening to see what the records were traded for.  Also, pressure is mounting for the Computer Game (Starcraft) as there are a couple people that are interested in making a trade, but a final decision hasn't been made.  Get all offers in for the Computer Game and the Go All In package as soon as possible if either of these packages interest you.  See you Saturday evening.  L8R
